Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability
When using the services of Your Personal Pack Sitter LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Your Personal Pack Sitter (“YPPS”) provides professional dog care, adventure, and enrichment services, including but not limited to off-leash forest adventures “Pack Playtime”, group and individual transport, and in-home “Staycations” (overnight or extended boarding in our private residence).

By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any YPPS service, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:

1. Veterinary Care and Medical Liability
YPPS may, at its sole discretion, seek veterinary care for your dog if it appears ill, injured, or in need of medical attention.
You agree that:
• You are fully responsible for all costs of veterinary treatment and any transportation required for such care.
• YPPS may transport your dog to the nearest available veterinary facility or your designated veterinarian in the event of illness or emergency.
• Your primary veterinarian is authorized to release medical information to YPPS if needed for treatment.
YPPS will make every reasonable effort to contact you prior to seeking medical care, but reserves the right to act without prior notice if immediate action is required for your dog’s safety and well-being.

2. Acknowledgment of Risk
You understand that participation in dog adventure and care services inherently involves certain risks, including but not limited to:
• Injury, illness, or stress;
• Interaction with other dogs, wildlife, or environmental elements;
• Exposure to outdoor terrain, insects, and weather conditions;
• Accidents during transport or while in an in-home environment;
• Escape, loss, or—though rare—death.
YPPS takes every reasonable precaution to provide a safe and structured experience; however, you acknowledge and accept these risks as a condition of using our services.

3. Release of Liability
By using YPPS services, you waive and release YPPS, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, damages, costs, or liabilities for injury, illness, loss, or death of your dog while in our care—whether occurring during forest adventures, transport, in-home Staycations, or any other YPPS service.

This release applies whether the cause is negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law.

4. Owner Responsibility and Indemnification
You remain responsible for your dog’s behavior at all times.
If your dog injures another animal, person, or damages property while under the care or supervision of YPPS, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless YPPS, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any resulting claims, damages, or expenses (including veterinary or legal fees).

5. Agreement to Terms
By booking, paying for, or participating in any YPPS service—including but not limited to Pack Playtime, Day Adventures, Forest Excursions, Staycations, or in-home care—you confirm that:
• You have read and understand this Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability;
• You voluntarily accept all risks associated with dog care, adventure, and boarding;
• You agree that this acknowledgment applies to all current and future services provided by YPPS.
