Special Weather Policies

Weather & Road Conditions

  • If Ann Arbor Public Schools is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, we will monitor the weather and road conditions through the morning but if conditions do not improve by 11am, we will need to cancel services for the day for the safety of our team and pack.

  • If there are poor weather conditions occuring during our typical Pack Playtime travel hours we may need 5o adjust our travel and playtime hours accordingly. If the weather is forecasted to improve throughout the day but poor during our typical travel hours, we will plan to continue as planned with a slightly shifted time frame. These time frame adjustments and decisions are communicated typically prior to our days start.

Please have a backup plan in place such as a neighbor or potty pads in case of such events.

Cancellations

  • In the rare event that roads continue to be unsafe by 11am, it may be necessary for us to cancel services for the day. We will text all scheduled clients and post to our social media platforms as well. If you have paid in advance, a full credit will be refunded upon request or we can credit you for a future service.

  • We do not have cancellation policed or fees at this time but ask that you are considerate about our time and giving us fair notice to any changes in your scheduled service.

failed service attempts

  • In the event that a service has been scheduled with our company and there is upon arrival no communication, no way of entry or pet present, the client will be called and notified and the full service price will still be charged to compensate us for our time and travel.

Health & Safety

  • On extreme weather days, we will monitor your pet closely and see how they handle it. We will stay outside as long as they can comfortably tolerate, but we may spend the time with lower key activities.

  • Pack Playtime can be affected by extreme weather conditions due to our outdoor environment. We will do our best to get the pack out but the time frames may vary depending on how conditions are. Worse case scenarios though where it is below 20 degrees, above 95 degrees, or any other hazardous weather conditions such as severe storms or high winds we MAY need to cancel playtime. We will communicate this the morning of and offer potty breaks if we have the ability to.

Please have a backup plan in place such as a neighbor or potty pads in case of such events where we cannot offer this.
